Somebody has to actually make the house work — get the guests fed, the room warm, the whole operation running while everyone else just shows up and enjoys it. That's not a lesser calling. That's Martha of Bethany’s calling (Luke 10), and it deserves its own drink.

We're calling it "Martha's Table" because homemaking is real work worth naming, not just the background noise before the "important" conversation starts. ➝ 2 oz gin

➝ 1 oz spiced Cointreau (“Jesus Juice”)

➝ 1 oz spiced cranberry juice

➝ shake, pour into a tumbler with a large cocktail cube, splash of tonic water

➝ garnish with a cinnamon stick (crack it slightly, first)
